Ok...so maybe you have a whole bunch of websites you want all organised in one place, or you want to host some sites for all your website buddies. With a "reseller" hosting account, you can do just that. You can resell or package our services to people and form your own web hosting business. Yeah, you read it right. You can market your own hosting. Why do we do that? Obviously, so we can charge you more money. :) Nah..besides that, it allows us to use spare processing power and disk space that might not normally be used. Your reseller account is hosted in a shared enviroment and you can charge your own prices, conduct billing...install/create websites...etc.. and most off all, it's cheaper than paying for individual websites. You can just have one invoice each month, no matter how many sites you have. We place our reseller accounts on faster servers. It just makes sense. More websites need a faster server.

A dedicated server is a server that is yours and yours alone. It is not shared. You have control over the server. Very busy and active websites usually fair better on a dedicated server as the drive space, memory and CPU usage is consumed by you. Yeah..just you ;)
A dedicated server is a big step for some, requiring time to manage, install software etc. Some of our experienced resellers or website developers lease a dedicated server and host their own websites or databases. A dedicated server implies a dedicated IP address.

Shared hosting simply means that your website sits on a server with a bunch of other websites. Your site shares the servers drive space, processing speed, bandwidth and IP address. As requests come into the server for your site, it automagically knows which is your site and delivers the site to the client. This is the most economiical way of getting your sites hosted.
